Great New Tweedy/Wilco Song

Their new album is out in a week, and this song is apparently NOT on it, but what a great little throw-back pop tune...

An old Eddy Arnold tune? What show was that on?

I wondered if that was a cover, but when I researched the Eddie Arnold tune, it's totally different. I have no idea what show it was, but the production quality is fantastic.

I think it's called "The Thanks I Get" -- I downloaded a live version of it awhile back. It's kicking around my hard drive somewhere, I think.

Did you hear them on Prairie Home Companion? Sounded great. They played a couple new songs, Muzzle of Bees, Hesitating Beauty ... I think that's it. I was hoping for Passenger Side but that was probably too much to ask. Still, I thought they'd at least talk to GK about the Woody Guthrie thing -- that would be right up his alley.

Three days to Sky Blue Sky -- can't wait.

I really liked the new song "What Light" -- yeah, looking forward to this release. So what if it's not "experimental" enough. Making good music is what it's about...
